_____________________

After taking a year off in 2014, Hyperion came back with a vengeance in 2015. Hyperion Homegrown was all about the family and Hyperion 2016 promises to be no different. We asked what you wanted to see more of and the answer was unanimously in support of an expanded forest, so we’re going to give you just that! The 2016 edition of Hyperion Music & Arts Festival promises more lights, more visual art, and more performance artists.

In keeping with last year’s homegrown theme, we’re asking YOU to create something to bring along to the forest this year. Perhaps you want to create a painting to hang at your campsite or maybe you’re feeling ambitious and want to go with a full-blown art installation. There’s a ton of talent in the Hyperion Family and we want to showcase it! For those who are not so artistically inclined, we’ve also created a ticket type with an optional $10 donation that you can be assured will go directly to more lights, visual art, or performance artists for everyone to enjoy.

The choice of how to contribute is yours, but what we know for sure is that Hyperion 2016 promises to be a homegrown family event you won’t want to miss!
