9:00-10:00am Crystal Singing Bowls By: Geoffrey Wertheim
The melodic sounds produced by crystal mediation bowls will magnify and enhance all that you intend, as they take you on a magical journey through sacred sound and vibrations, deepening your higher awareness and opening you to wholeness on all levels. You are invited to journey the realms to deep inner peace, meditation and stress relief. Your presenter will individually tune the crystal bowls to the most common 7 referenced chakras. Aligning all your energy centers and more, this music will enlighten, enhance & clear your senses.
10:00-11:00am All Experience Level Yoga By:Julia Phillips
Not terribly demanding as far as Yoga workshops go and suitable for all ages and experience levels, this experience will focus on simple, easy stretches and a basic beginner’s flow. Surrender to self love and meet yourself where you are without judgement, relaxing and invigorating your body for the remainder of the festivities. Presented by a certified instructor.
11:00-Noon Inner Alchemist-Twin flame activation! By: Tico and Kiara
This workshop examines the fundamentals and foundations of the ancient art of alchemy, practiced in the Far East at least as early as the 3rd millenium BCE in an attempt to bring the disparate elements of the universe into harmony. Specific topics of discussion will include Soul Mates and the activation of Twin-Flames. Our presenters have taught and guided students in numerous volunteer and educational capacities.
Noon-1pm,The Energy Within Rocks,Stones and Crystals By: Geoffrey Wertheim
Crystals have been used as healing tools for thousands of years. Each type of crystal is thought to hold unique special energies, used to heal in different ways. Our spiritualist presenter is a long-time practitioner crystal healing. He will discuss the practice of healing using the unique vibration of different crystals to focus love, light, and peace within the body. Come learn from his great wealth of knowledge about energies, stones, and techniques to utilize them.
1:00-2:00pm, Blueprint for a Better World and Escaping the Matrix 101 By:Ayla Thompson, BA in Psychology
All of us would like to see improvements in the world. By creating a Blueprint for a better world, we could do amazing things! Whole person education is important, so a basic understanding of the human experience is critical in this regard. Your presenter has a BA in Psychology, and is a Spiritual counselor, Healer, Empath, and Lightworker.
2:00-3:00pm,Civil Liberties, Personal Freedoms and Exercising Your Sovereign National and Basic Human Rights By: Andrew Struss
Borrowing its title from the unalienable rights guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence and including a discussion of rights guaranteed in the Constitution, this presentation will attempt to educate not only concerning the rights we are theoretically guaranteed, but also on how those rights are being systematically infringed upon. Topics will include the Patriot Act, NSA surveillance, etc. Presenter is a past United States Air Force Field Detachment Trainer to the Chilean Armeros, and Minnesota Libertarian Party U.S. Senate campaign manager

From the latin meaning “to throw oneself to the stars,” astral projection is a broad term encompassing various forms of out-of-body experiences and meditation methods. Here we look to delve beyond the basics of the shamanic journey and offer specific techniques and tools to guide you through your astral voyage and enhance the spiritual benefits of your out-of-body experience.

Bring an Instrument and Come Jam! – In addition to the traditional instruments, such as drums, bongos, tambourines, moraccas, etc., practically anything can be made into an improvised percussion instrument; if you didn’t pack your congas, find a stick and a bucket and join us for an orchestrated rhythmic adventure. As the universal language, music (especially rhythm) contains the power to bring people together in a shared experience of fun and life-affirmation.

The Illicit Drug Anti-Proliferation Act, commonly referred to as the RAVE Act, gives federal authorities the power to significantly fine an event for knowingly and “intentionally profiting” from drug use. This vague language has been interpreted to mean that festival organizers cannot provide drug education or safety services. Some argue that this contributes to deaths from ecstasy and other drug-related complications. Come learn about the Rave act, it’s implementation, and the movement to amend or remove it. Discover what types of education and services can’t be provided at events, and discuss the potential effects of this legislation.

Old Skool Underground is proud to announce, Strangeland 2016 : Villages! That’s right! Strangeland is back for it’s fifth year, this time with a new twist and in a new venue! This year, Strangeland will be hosted at the beautiful Sokol Park on June 10th and 11th!
In lieu of one mainstage, we will be providing 7 stages to explore during the day! Ran and operated by some of the best crews and companies the Midwest has to offer, these stages will act as “seeds” of sorts, for multiple villages scattered through the park! Pledge allegiance to your favorite, then spend the days of Strangeland wandering from village to village, each unique and each with it’s own flavor.
At night, join us at the indoor overnight stage, where the cream of the crop of the region’s best bands and music artists take you into the morning with music from many different genres.
Strangeland has always been about bringing together the area’s best, as well as spotlighting the so often overlooked talent overflowing the Midwest. You will not find another event with this many local and regional artists showcased. Period.
Admission includes two days camping, and access to over 60 live music acts over 6 Stages.
Food vendors will be onsite, but we welcome you to provide your own food and drink.
Purchase of a pre-sale ticket entitles you to early entry to the park on June 9th to set up camp and get settled. You are welcome to camp a day early if you please.
This is a 18+ event.
Must be 21+ to drink. (This will be strictly enforced! Any minor caught in possession of alcohol, will be ejected from the park with no refund and may also face prosecution.)
